Thanks to the brilliant writers of Hollywood, the movie Love Happens with Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Eckhart has got us all banging our heads against the wall with befuddlement.
In the movie Aniston's character, Eloise, goes around writing words like quidnunc and poppysmic on hotel walls. Why? That's not important, seeing that the movie stunk anyway.
What's obviously important is what those words actually mean. Many online surfers have been frantically searching for the meaning to this obscurity. So I thought I would grant us all some ease by presenting you with the definitions to these words, along with a few other rarely used vocabulary gems
Quidnunc- an inquisitive and gossipy person
Poppysmic- sound produced with smacking of lips

Misandronist- a person who believes men are the source of all problems
Mackabroin- A hideous old woman
And finally…
Grandiloquent- pompous or extravagant in language, style, or manner.
