AFGHANISTAN -- Iraq's Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is not backing Barack Obama's troop withdrawal plan. The statement comes in response to an article that quoted al-Maliki as favoring a 16 month withdrawal window. Iraq's government spokesman says al-Maliki's views were misunderstood and he backs a general vision of a pull out.
